Date of Birth: 12th of May, 1907, at 3:47pm-EST, in a small apartment on North Hudson Street, located in Hartford Connecticut, to Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn (known as Hep) a well-respected Urologist at Hartford Hospital, and Katharine Houghton Hepburn (called Kit) a fighter for woman's rights and legalized birth control, among other things.
Siblings: One older: Tom, and the rest younger: Dick, Bob, Marion, and Peggy.
Marriage: Ludlow Odgen Smith, from 1928 to 1934. Their marriage was nothing more then a union of their friendship, and the two continued to remained close friends until Luddy's death in 1979.
Children: She firmly believed that one could not have a career and children, but according to William J. Mann, author of Kate: The Woman Who Was Hepburn, Hepburn had a partial hysterectomy in 1933 (his source are Luddy's letters) which rendered her unable to have children.
Schooling: Graduated from Bryn Mawr college in 1928 with a degree in both history and philosophy.
Affairs: Beside Spencer Tracy, Hepburn also had Leland Hayward (they actually had plans to marry), John Ford, George Stevens and Howard Hughes, most notably.
Awards: Oscar for Best Actress in 1933 for Morning Glory, Oscar for Best Actress in 1967 for Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Oscar for Best Actress (tied with Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl) in 1968 for The Lion in Winter, and Oscar for Best Actress in 1981 for On Golden Pond. She was nominated 8 other times, all in the best actress category.

Vices: After she quit smoking sometime in the fifties, none.
Date of Death: 29th of June, 2003, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, of natural causes. She was 96 years old. She had been in decline for about roughly 10 years, with bouts of memory loss.
She is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford Connecticut.
